Modeling and Control of Flexible Robot Manipulators

This book provides an account of the progress being made in the field of the modelling and control of lightweight flexible manipulator systems. It covers the main issues in system simulation and modelling, classical and advanced control and soft computing control. For each section it gives an overview of the problem as well as a review of the current thinking. It also looks at algorithm development and evaluation, software development for computer implementation of the algorithm and verification and assessment of the results.
